Spirit of TurnAcre
   
TurnAcre’s animals and plants from Halifax, Yorkshire, UK are central to this collection. 
 
The natural colours of their pedigree Ryeland and Coloured Ryeland sheep fleece is celebrated in a mixture of needle felted fibres which overlie a background of eco dyed cotton fabric using rusty horseshoes from the family’s horses and rain water. 
A hand grown, harvested and pressed Anthurium leaf nestles on top attached using hand dyed cotton thread and a simple straight stitch. 
Displayed in a natural wood deep box frame to accomodate this exquisite 3D art there are two sizes available approx 20x20cm and approx 25x25cm. Each art work is behind a glass protective front. (Photographs are taken without the glass to avoid reflections and glare.)
 
Each piece of art is unique due to the use of natural products and the unpredictability of eco dying. 
Each piece of art is individually titled using words which encapsulate The Spirit of TurnAcre such as home, life and love, each piece will have a different title, no repeats. 
You will receive art work similar to those photographed. 
 
Each art work includes a wooden TurnAcre makers mark.
